Patricia Ann Turner

Pat Turner received her B.S. in Biology from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas prior to a 12-month internship in Medical Technology at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith. After several years as a board-certified Medical Technologist (MT-ASCP) she attended Mississippi State University and graduated with the Master of Science degree with an emphasis in Administration. For 10 years she was the Project Management Coordinator for the DOE-sponsored Diagnostic Instrumentation and Analysis Lab (DIAL) at MSU, now the Institute for Clean Energy Technology (ICET). She joined the University of Arkansas in 1998 as part of the NSF EPSCoR program and moved into Research and Sponsored Programs the next year. As a Grants Specialist she works with faculty to facilitate their proposal submissions and ensure adherence to agency guidelines.
