3 August 2017 - The Vice Provost for Research and Economic Development is requesting expression of interest in submitting to NSF Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) in Engineering and Computer Science Supplements and Sites: https://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2017/nsf17575/nsf17575.htm. This is a limited submission opportunity. Please contact Ralph Davis in the VPRED office via email with expression of interest by August 25, 2017, and include a 2-page white paper describing the project and a 1-page bio for the PI and Co-I’s. Final decisions about the team selected for submission will be made by 5:00 pm, August 29. Please submit white papers and cv as a single pdf document to Ralph Davis (ralphd@uark.edu).

NSF 17-575 Research Experiences for Teachers (RET) in Engineering and Computer Science Supplements and Sites

Limit on Number of Proposals per Organization: 3

Three Site proposals may be submitted per competition by a U.S. academic institution, including a College/Department of Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer and/or Information Science as the lead institution. No more than two of the three proposals may have an engineering focus and only one of the three proposals may have a computer and/or information science focus.

Potential PIs are advised to contact their institutional office of research regarding processes used to select proposals for submission.
